Robotics
The ultimate in Science technology. We will be working with multiple robots over our first section. We will also work with coding and understanding how to talk to machines.
Sumo Robots
You will be using the Lego Mindstorm robots to create a Sumo bot. The video below gives you and example of a sumo robot competition. We will talk about programing on Monday, but Friday you will spend time putting your bot together. You might also want to think about how to find and push your opponent so that you start thinking about how programing will go.
BioTechnology
We start by looking at how small small really is. On this website.
Next we will look at the building block of our world: DNA. Lets start here.
Sharing information rules
1. You will alternate explaining questions to each other.
2. The speaker needs to explain everything that you have written down in your own way.
3. The listener needs to hear the speaker out completely and they need to be comparing the information they are getting from the speaker with what they have already found.
4. The listener may interject if and only if the information given is completely different from what you have already found.
5. After the speaker is done the two of you need to compare what you have before moving on to the next question.
